Les Cinq Toits
Les Cinq Toits (The Five Roofs) is a social innovation project that promotes the cultural diversity by experimenting a mix of audiences and activities within a former gendarmerie barracks. Around 350 people are housed there : refugees, asylum seekers and isolated people or people in emergency situations. Premises are also made available for artisans, artists, social entrepreneurs and community stakeholders. The place, which also hosts a solidarity restaurant, a garden, terraces, a shared workshop and offers family and committed programming, makes it possible to build an economic, social and cultural fabric in the service of integration. I’ve worked in collaboration with the two associations in place to create a presentation booklet for visitors, but also for residents to help them navigate the place and the neighborhood. It was a voluntary project and unfortunately did not come to completion.
